Stake pays 3.5% of the house edge and that number does not change as you climb the VIP ladder. Casino play returns 3.5% of the edge, poker returns 3.5% of the rake, and sports returns 3.5% of the theoretical value of the bet. Voided and cashed-out sports bets do not count.

Rakeback unlocks at Bronze, which is $10,000 total wagered — ten times Shuffle's threshold. Below that there is no rakeback at all, which is the single most important thing to know if you are a casual player choosing between the two.

Stake applies 3.5% across three different bases depending on what you are playing. On casino games it is 3.5% of the house edge. On poker it is 3.5% of the rake. On sports it is 3.5% of the theoretical value of the bet. Those are three different calculations that happen to land on the same headline number.

The sports rule has a catch: voided and cashed-out bets are ineligible. If you habitually cash out early to lock in a smaller win, you are also giving up the rakeback on that bet. Over a season that adds up.

Claiming is manual — VIP Club, then your username, then the Rakeback tab. It is available at any time and does not expire, so there is no reason to check daily beyond the discipline of doing it.

The code has a hard deadline. GETRAKEBACK must be entered within 24 hours of registering. Affiliates commonly claim that a code unlocks rakeback before the $10,000 threshold; Stake's own pages do not say that, and we have not been able to confirm it. What Stake does say is that an affiliate bonus may need to be enabled by support.

The VIP ladder pays out through bonuses rather than a better rakeback rate. Bonus growth begins at Silver, daily bonuses at Platinum, and a dedicated VIP host at Diamond. That is the actual reward for climbing, since the 3.5% never moves.
